This page describes the information handled by the Ruby ANPR sales website.

Information we collect
When you contact us, we store the name, email address, company information and message you submit. When you purchase Ruby ANPR, we store transaction identifiers, the payer name and email returned by PayPal, the amount, currency, purchase status and download activity required to fulfil the order.
Payments
Payment is processed by PayPal. Ruby ANPR does not receive or store your PayPal password or full payment-card details. PayPal may process information under its own privacy terms when its checkout is used.
Essential cookies and first-party analytics
The website uses an essential PHP session cookie for security functions such as form protection, checkout continuity and administrator login. The website also records basic first-party conversion events such as homepage views, live-demo clicks, pricing views, checkout starts and completed purchases. The analytics event table does not store a visitor identifier.
The Ruby ANPR analytics table does not store a visitor identifier, IP address, full referrer URL, browser user-agent string, customer name or email address. It records event names, page paths, the referring hostname and limited non-personal campaign labels so we can understand which pages help visitors and where the purchase process can be improved. The site does not require third-party advertising cookies for its own operation.
Optional Google Ads measurement
If you accept advertising measurement in Cookie settings, we load the Google Ads tag to attribute purchases to advertisements. Google can receive advertising click information, the page address without query parameters, the purchase amount and currency, and an order reference. We do not send your name, email address or download access token in the purchase event. Advertising personalisation is disabled in this integration. Google advertising cookies may be set after acceptance; see Google’s advertising information.
You can reject optional cookies and still buy and download the software. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Use Cookie settings to change it; withdrawal stops future purchase events from this integration and requests denial of advertising storage. Data already sent to Google is not erased by changing this choice. Google may retain advertising cookies for their own lifetimes.
Amazon affiliate links
Where Ruby ANPR displays an Amazon affiliate link, clicking it takes you to Amazon. Amazon may process information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms. Ruby ANPR records a limited first-party amazon_affiliate_click event so we can understand which recommendations are useful; this event does not add a visitor identifier, customer name or email address to the Ruby ANPR analytics table.
Why we use the information
We use the information to answer enquiries, process purchases, provide secure software downloads, prevent abuse, keep transaction records and support customers.
Retention and security
Records are retained only for legitimate business, support, security and accounting needs. Administrative access is protected by authentication and stored passwords are hashed. Software releases are stored outside normal public download access and are served through controlled download links.
