02 / A real vehicle event
Does the capture look right?
After a successful camera Test, make a known vehicle pass. Confirm the registration, direction and available images in Ruby ANPR before relying on the setup.
Work through capture checks →Seeing “1111111” from the camera Test button? Supported Hikvision firmware may send a synthetic plate event with zero confidence and UNKNOWN direction. Use a real vehicle pass to verify recognition and IN / OUT behaviour.
